Coronavirus update: All 2022 courses are subject to Government regulations and whether travel is possible and schools can be opened.

All fees below include: The course, cultural activities, accommodation of your choice in a single room: either (a) Host-family accommodation with half board (breakfast and dinner) OR (b) self-catering accommodation in a student residence. Included are registration fees, contact-person at your destination, 24-hour emergency service, course materials, certificate upon completion of your course. Accommodation including accommodation on recommended travel dates.

All Fees in Euro (€) Student Residence accommodation does not include meals. Self-catering means, that kitchens are provided for your use and own your own cooking is carried out here. Ensuite bathrooms can be booked, but are subject to availability.
Not included: Flight and Airport transfer.

Fee: €2298 – includes 25 lessons per week including excursions and research project, materials, host-family accommodation, en-suite bathroom (subject to availability), full board, shuttle bus from host-family to school and around town, airport transfer from either Cork or Kerry. Arrival/Departure either Saturday to Saturday, Sunday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. Please note: no transfer is available from Dublin Airport.

GEN: General English for Educators, Teachers, and Professionals

In this course educators will focus on improving their own English reading, writing, speaking, listening and pronunciation skills. Improve on and learn new grammar. Participants will also engage in cultural activities and have the option to part-take in excursions (pay-as-you-go basis).

Start date: Any Monday in 2022
Schools closed: 19.12.-6.1.

Class size: 10-15, all levels, A1 to C1

Minimum stay: 1 week.
Recommended: 2 weeks or longer in order to immerse into an intensive programme.

GEN Programme price includes: Comprehensive and immersive General English course (20 lessons per week) in Dublin City, Galway and Cork. Dublin Dun Laoghaire (15 group lessons + 5 private lessons). Course materials*, certificate, application and booking fees, English level test, cultural activities and social activities, coordinator to help you with questions and problems at the school, emergency service and emergency hotline and School registration fee.

Bookings with accommodation include: Accommodation in a single room of your choice (a) student residence in single room, self-catering (no meals included), sharing other facilities such as fully equipped kitchen for your own cooking, and common rooms (b) Host-family single room with half board meals, breakfast and dinner. Full board on the weekends (including lunch)

All accommodation includes bed-linen.

*Prices include course materials, but no school books.

NB: Flight not included in price. Funding for flight also available through Erasmus+.

STARTING DATES:

Every Monday, all year round: Choose dates that suit you. Courses start every week depending on level. Please book early for high season dates. July and August are always in high demand and require early booking.

Schools usually close from 20.12.-06.01. There are no lessons on public holidays.

Courses and accommodation will fill up.

Accommodation starts:

Dublin City, Cork, Dun Laoghaire: Sunday prior to the course until Sunday after the course
Galway: Saturday before the course, until Saturday after the course.

Payment rates are weekly, there are no refunds if departing earlier or arriving later.

Prices include a non-refundable €49 booking fee.

EU Grant and Prices:

Please make sure that you apply for enough travel days in your EU grant application.

For a 5-day course apply for 7 days of accommodation.

For a 10-day course apply for 14 days of accommodation.

Host-family with en-suite: Galway: host-family with en-suite bathroom, no extra cost but subject to availability.
Dublin City and Dun Laoghaire and Cork: Host-family, private room with En-suite bathroom €67 per week. All subject to availability.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS:

Dublin Airport transfer: €79 from Dublin airport to Dublin accommodation (one way)

Cork Airport transfer from Cork airport or Cork Bus Station: €55 to accommodation in Cork (one-way)

Galway Airport transfers:

The best way is to fly to Dublin International airport. Catch a bus directly from the airport to Galway. A bus journey takes 3-hours and costs €15-€30. This works best if arrival to Dublin is during the daytime. Busses do not go overnight. Please check providers Aircoach.ie, GoBus.ie, BusEireann.ie.

We will send you detailed information prior to your course. You can rest assured that booking and transfer is easy. Otherwise, we can arrange a meet and greet service in Galway or private airport pickup. However, this is a 4-hour drive and an expensive option ~€350 (one way). Please get in touch if required.

Meet and greet service at Dublin Airport for Galway participants: €150 (one way)
Meet a school representative at the airport in Dublin and be accompanied to bus departure gate to Galway city. This includes:
– provided with single bus coach transfer ticket
– travel unaccompanied to Galway city
– does not include meet and greet in Galway

PLEASE NOTE PAYMENT TERMS: If booking more than 8 weeks ahead of your travel date, the pre-payment deposit of €299 is to be paid within 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation note in order to confirm your booking.

If your booking date is within 8 weeks of your travel date, full fees are due 7 days after you receive the booking confirmation.  

After the deposit of €299 has been paid, students receive an invoice with a receipt via email. The balance of fees are due within 8 weeks, with some courses 8 weeks prior to your travel date. Please refer to the payment dates on your confirmation and invoice.

Regardless of the time of booking, all fees must be paid prior to your arrival.
